After college.
My name is Olivia, I am 18 years old, and I have already been 1 year at the College of Ahuntsic in Medical Ultrasound Technology. I have chosen this program because it was new, and it seemed very interesting. When I got accepted in, I was very surprised and happy because only a few people could get in. However, after College I am not sure what I want to do and where I want to work. So here are my two options:
Choice 1 : Stay in Montreal and work in a hospital.
Choice 2 : Move to Rimouski with my family and work in a hospital.

I decided to stay in Montreal and take a small apartment with my best friend. I am a little bit sad because my family moved to Rimouski and they now live 6 hours away from me. However, I am happy because I am free and can have fun with my friends. I also found a job at the hospital close to my apartment. I have a shift tomorrow at 7 in the morning, but one of my friends organize a party tonight. Should I go to sleep to be in good shape for my first day of work tomorrow or should I go to the party and have fun?

Choice 2 : Stay at my apartment and sleep.

It took us 1 hour to get to the party, but when we arrived the music was so loud and everyone were screaming. We stayed until the sun rises and then decided to go back to the apartment. When I went to bed it was 5:30 in the morning. It was a very fun night, but I was very tired the next morning. Should I stay in bed and get more sleep, because, anyway, we don't do much during the first day of work. Or should I get up and go to work?

I decided to stay in bed and get more sleep to have more energy for tomorrow and be effective at work since I already missed one day. I hope my boss will not be upset.

I decided to stay at my apartment and relax before starting work tomorrow. I got my uniform ready and all of my supplies. I also got enough time to read all of my notes again. But while getting ready for tomorrow, I realized that I forgot to buy my uniform pants and that the store where closing in an hour. Should I stay at home and read my notes to be ready for tomorrow? Or should I go to the shop now, maybe they will let m in the hospital without my uniform?

I decided to go buy a new uniform to the closest store I could find. Even if there was a lot of traffic, I arrived on time, and I was able to go back to my apartment, and study my notes before going to bed. I had 8 hours of sleep and had a lot of energy for my work day!

I decided to stay at home because it was already too late to go to the store, and I would not have time to get there on time anyway. Since I stayed at home, I had a lot of time to study my medical ultrasound notes! Even if I wasn't sure if they would let me in tomorrow without my uniform, at least I would be ready.

Since I decided to not go buy my uniform yesterday to have more time to study, I went to work without my pants uniform. Fortunately, my employee let me in, and I was able to work. Everything went well.

The minute I stepped inside the hospital my employee started screaming at me and asked me why I could have my uniform for my first day of work. I started stuttering while looking at the ground. I didn't know what to do, so I didn't say anything. He told me that I regretted his choice and sent me back home.

I went to the store to buy my uniform. I was a little bit sad because of what happened, but I made sure that everything was ready for tomorrow. When I sent to work the next day, everything went well and my employee never mentioned what happened.

When I arrived at my apartment, I was about to cry. My friend tried to help my but I stayed in my room all day. The next day, I made sure that my uniform was ready, but my employee called me. He told me he regretted to inform me that he didn't want me back to the hospital. I was shocked.

I decided to move with my family because I figured I would miss them too much is I stayed in Montreal without them. I found a job at the hospital and everyone is very nice there. I am happy, but I really miss my friends a lot since they all stayed in Montreal. I don't have any break from work since I moved not even on Saturdays and Sundays. Should I miss one day of work to go see my friends in Montreal. Or shouldn't miss a day of work, because it could cause bad consequences?

I decided that one day off work would help me rest a little bit and my friends really miss me.

I decided that I should make sure to call my employee before missing of day of work in case the hospital really needs me. He said I worked hard for the past two months, so I could have an entire week of break! I was so happy! I will be able to see my friends for a full week and come back to work without any problems!

When I was at the restaurant with my friends, laughing and having fun, my boss called me. I was to scare to answer, so I declined is call. When I finally listened to the voicemail he left me, I was shock. He told me that I was fired and that he couldn't tolerate such irresponsible behavior and that I was fired. I couldn't believe what just happened, but I was so upset that I decided to find a new job in Montreal because I was happier where I was.

I was at the bar with my friends, when my employee called me. I ran outside and answered. He asked me if I was sick. I answered with a deep voice and said yes. He said it was ok and hoped I get better soon.

I decided that it was not a good idea to not go on my first day of work, so I went even if my head was hurting a lot, and I was tired. When I arrived at the hospital, my head was hurting more and felt a bit weak. Should I go back home or should I try to work, maybe it is going to get better soon?

My head hurts too much, so I decide to go back home. I think it is the best way to get better. I will call my employee later to tell him what happened.

Since it is my first day of work, I don't want to miss it. I think it is a very important day, because I will be able to meet all of my coworkers and make new friends. I will also be able to meet new patients and use my knowledge about medical ultrasounds. If my head starts hurting too much, I will tell my employee and I am sure he will understand.
